My blogging adventure
I’ll be evaluating a few different blogging options over the next 30 days or so.
For any of us that have multiple blogs, we know that a huge problem is posting topics to multiple blogs at once. There are some methods to remedy this problem.
1) Browser based solutions
2) Desktop-based solutions (will only list Mac-compatible solutions here, as I do not currently have a heathen box on which to do any Windows-based testing
Please, do let me know of anything I may have missed. I am doing this as much for figuring out the best way for ME to blog as I am for others’ knowledge.
iPhoto trickery
Okay, so I was at a family reunion this weekend. It was fun, and to add some technology, and geekiness to the fun I decided to get everyone’s digital camera photos together, and consolidate them onto CDs for everyone. One problem. One of our family’s cameras had an incorrectly set time. It was 12 hours late. This posed quite the problem when I imported everyone’s photos into iPhoto, and one group’s photos were totally in the wrong place (when sorted by date). In comes Joe Maller. He’s got great iPhoto plugins that can be used to date/time shift photos. Check it out.
Open Up Mail

Ok, so many of us using Macs are using widescreen monitors. This little plugin will help you out. I’ve been using this for several days, and have to say it’s been a great help.

What to Post, Where to Post
Isn’t this an age-old question…well, blog-age-old question at least.
There is much to be said about this topic…but not by me. I’d like to get some opinions. I assume that many web users have multiple blogs. Perhaps a personal, business, and even one or two dealing with specific categories, or topics. How do you know where to post things. What if it’s a review of a piece of software. Is it taboo to double post? Anyways, I’m going to work out my own method and ‘business rules’ and see how that works out.

Gardner and I chat it up about the new SixApart project VOX. I have to say, this is the future of blogging. Think the Flickr of blogging.
Family Force 5

Check these guys out…pretty cool band. Insane website.
Sound Source

Something cool anyone using OSX might find useful:
This SoundSource by Rogue Amoeba is pretty sweet. It allows you to select where you want your sound input/output to go on the fly. Check it out.
